The Oak Planters

Wei Teng’s aspiration to be a wordsmith started from young when she brazenly declared to her father that she would, one day, read all the books in the world -- and was given a sound knock in the head for being (truly) naive.

Since then, she has convinced her father that she may not be able to read all the books in this world but would have fun attempting to add on to the world’s collections. 

​

She was also one of the former co-founders of Kidlit Southeast Asia, a Facebook group, which helped promote awareness and appreciation of SEA children’s literature that is inspired by the diverse cultures and traditions of the SEA region.
