Service Description

The duration of each session is either 1 h or 1 h 30 min, depending on the child's needs and profile. For learners who may find it challenging to learn Science through traditional, sensory-limited methods. Each lesson is tailored to engage your child’s unique learning preferences. We use a multi-sensory, experiment-based approach with the KAVT-O framework – Kinaesthetic, Auditory, Visual, Tactile, and Olfactory learning. • Kinaesthetic activities engage the vestibular sense (balance and movement) and stimulate proprioception (body awareness). • Auditory and Visual elements strengthen listening and observation skills. • Tactile exploration deepens hands-on learning. • Olfactory (smell) is occasionally included to add another meaningful layer to the learning experience. To build exam readiness, we also conduct test question analysis dialogues with the child. Learners are guided to apply what they have learnt in experiments to answering structured questions. Special attention is given to the use of MOE-approved science keywords, so that children not only understand the concepts, but also express their answers accurately and confidently in line with examination requirements. We provide a trial lesson before intervention begins. This is to ensure that we are confident of providing services that can cater to the learners' needs, as well as assess their areas of strengths and weaknesses that would provide useful information about their learning.
